Over thousands of years, sediment from Montauk’s cliffs has swept west in the Atlantic tide, causing the Long Island beach to gradually creep outward.

Every Memorial Day weekend, a summer deteriorate strictly kicks off in a Hamptons as well as with it comes a droves of film stars as well as city dwellers.

With over 70% of its land publicly owned, most of Montauk will stay exactly as it looks now. That means this tiny hamlet at the tip of Long Island, with about 4,000 people, will have rising real estate prices as it grows in popularity.

I’m sure we’ve all noticed it by now: traffic is heavier, restaurants are busier, and parking spots are harder to find. Another summer is here, and that means the Hamptons are getting crowed.
