Cyril’s serves up a mean tuna sandwich and legendary Cajun calamari, but this roadside shack has earned its reputation as a bar — a toned-down college party you can see on Dune Road most weekday afternoons in the summer. Parking (and sometimes service) can be a nightmare when it gets busy. The most famous of Cyril’s libations is probably the Bailey’s banana colada, and should be slurped slowly as reggae booms through the loudspeakers, and eccentric owner Cyril engages patrons in conversations. This is the closest you may get to the Caribbean without actually going there — everyone is laid back, except those trying to park on the long straight road between Amagansett and Montauk.
