Pop singer Madonna has purchased a horse ranch in the Hamptons.  Madonna loves to ride horses.  The horse ranch sits on 30 acres of land and cost the “Material Girl” $9.6M.

The 51-year-old mother of two purchased the ranch from the ex-wife of designer Calvin Klein.  Part of the purchase agreement stipulated that Madonna must keep the property as a working equine center.  The property is called the Wild Ocean Farm.

Reportedly, Madonna is also interested in purchasing an adjoining plot of land on which to build a mansion.

This is not Madonna’s first real estate purchase this year.  She bought a $40M mansion in New York City in April.  The four-story brick townhouse has 13 bedrooms, 14 bathrooms, 9 fireplaces, wine cellar, garden, and elevator.
