Friday nights at Axe Lounge at Dune get me through the workweek. There is no better place to let loose, have some drinks and dance on the couches then Axe. Some people will describe it as a club, but it is more like a lounge with dancing to me. The DJ plays all types of music from all decades and you may even spot some A-class celebrities such as Leonardo DiCaprio and also reality stars like PC from NYC Prep. If I want to take a breather, I can go to the back room and converse by the bar or step outside for some air. I never have trouble ordering a drink as there are two large bars and an ample number of bartenders. I love when the cocktail waitresses form a procession with a bottle of champagne and sparklers in hand and come to the table for the celebration. Many groups get table service, but there are always plenty of guys who will offer women a drink from theirs. But then again, I met a guy who didn’t realize how much a drink costs in the Hamptons’ clubs (only a couple dollars more than the city) and after he paid for the drink he ordered for me, he took it for himself. You know who you are! Regardless, I always have a blast there. Just Dune It!
