The 2009 Great Chefs Dinner is the primary fundraiser for Bridgehampton’s Hayground School, which provides progressive nursery-to-8th-grade education.  This annual tribute to the late Jeff Salaway, a widely respected and beloved restaurateur and one of the school’s co-founders, features a tribute to local Hamptons chefs and East End produce. Participating chefs included Joseph Realmuto (Nick & Toni’s), Sam Talbot (Surf Lodge, Top Chef) and Kevin Penner (1770 House). Joe Watson (Vine Wine Bar) provided drinks for the cocktail party.  Sponsors for the event include: Barry Sonnenfeld and Susan Ringo, Brenda Seimer, Crop Vodka, The Community Farmers’ Market at Hayground School, Lisa Zust, Maria Pessino, Party Rentals, Toni Ross, Vine Wine Bar and WordHampton Pubic Relations.
