Any facial that begins with a foot massage in fine with us! At Beautiful You Center for Healing Arts, your facial will be tailored to you – whether that means you need deep purifying cleansing, are particular to La Prairie, or have a time limit of 30 minutes (most take 60 minutes). Geomare, the founder and facialist, has also trained in energy healing. At the end of the facial, she might run her hands a few inches above your body and you may experience subtle energetic vibrations. The results? Hours later, we noticed our back was much more relaxed, as if we’d had a full-body massage – which we most definitely did not. The home-like, welcoming wellness center also offers massage, Reiki, Feng Shui consultations and life coaching.
To27 Tip: Buy a small bottle of Ayurvedic-based ZRII to drink on your way out. The main ingredient is the highly-regarded Amalaki, grown at the base of the Himalayas.

The only Naturopathica spa is in the Hamptons. It’s actually spread across at least two buildings, so when you arrive, make sure you look for the main building with the shop to check in at reception. We didn’t realize and were wandering around across the way – oops! One of the best things about the center’s services is the use of Naturopathica products like Deep Forest, Arnica and French Lavender body oils. For a massage, request Rita. We loved her signature move of simultaneously pushing down on the small of the back while pushing up at the neck to stretch out the tension. Naturopathica also offers house calls.
To27 Tip: The store has products like “laugh often” T-shirts, wellness books like Gift of Loving Kindness, Havianas and organic African nectar tea.

The Spa at East Wind is best for a getaway – whether you’re on your own, with girlfriends or a significant other. It’s in the middle of nowhere, which is the appeal. No party scene here. This is a full-out destination mega spa with sauna and steam room for extra relaxation. Most spas in the Hamptons proper are small-ish. No such limits here. We went for a traditional, amazing deep-tissue massage but some of the less conventional treatments include a seaweed facelift, lava shell massage, vinotherapy and hapuna volcanic thermal treatment. You could hit this spa on the way to or from the Hamptons, or make it its own trip entirely.
To27 Tip: The Tanger outlets, with stores like Barneys New York, J. Crew and Nike, are nearby. Bebe and American Apparel opened there this summer.
