Hey guys, last week I wrote to you about all the stuff to do in the Hamptons and now here’s the other side, what not to do:
Don’t:
- Get in a cab with someone random if you don’t know where you’re going. This is not the city, cabs are expensive and not everywhere.
- Think you are going to get into a club on a holiday weekend if you show up late. Rookie mistake, don’t show up late unless you’re a celeb or model.
- Go to the Hamptons with a promoter you don’t really know. A free place to stay isn’t worth being in a bad situation.
- Just go where your house is going if you have a share house. This confines you to only hanging out with the same group all summer. Boring, but maybe that’s just me.
- Be sober in one of the clubs. It gets crazy crowded and it won’t be fun. Again… maybe just me.
- Do any drugs in any clubs!! It’s just NOT worth it.
- Overstress about planning, it’s not that big a deal! I’m from L.A. and figured it out quick last summer.
- Go there without a place to stay. Once you’ve been drinking, you’ll never find a safe place.
