Sorry, but the weather sucks. It’s been a gray and rainy June and this weekend is no exception. It’s also kind of freezing at night, so bring sweaters, people! But just because we can’t lie out on the beach doesn’t mean we can’t have a kick-ass time during the day. Here are a few To27 suggestions for indoor activities in the Hamptons:
Buy a $60,000 motorcycle. Or, you know, look at one. Sag Harbor resident Billy Joel’s exhibit includes a Bobber, a Knucklehead and a Road King with sidecar.
Motorcycle as Art and Icon, Free, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. daily through July 19, until 8 p.m. Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays, Christy Building, 3 Madison Street, Sag Harbor, 631-725-7000, 20thcc.com
Stare at art thoughtfully. Like they said on USA’s “Royal Pains” last night, get some culture. There’s more to the Hamptons than body shots. Pop artist Michael Perez is toasting Summer ‘09 at his gallery in Southampton. Nicky Hilton and Devon Aoki are fans. There will be wine.

Drink! There’s no reason to wait until nighttime. You could do this at your share house or at Michael Perez (see above). Or hit a winery to taste a few great cabs, merlots and chardonnays.
See a movie about drinking. The Hangover is HILARIOUS. We don’t want to give anything away but let’s say Vegas, nakedness, Heather Graham as a stripper and what else do you really need to know?

Hook up. Pick someone up in transit using To27 advice. Just choose your seat carefully on the Hampton Luxury Liner, Jitney or LIRR. For lacy underthings, corsets and inspiration, check out the new La Perla pop-up store in East Hampton.

Saw the Hangover last night - highly recommended! Laughed a lot.
Anybody check out Billy Joel’s rides?
Yes, I just happened to walk by. I’m not even into motorcycles but it was really interesting to see.
What fun can we hope for this weekend? I’m not keeping my hopes up for sunshine, that’s for sure …
