Looking to bump into your favorite star this summer? When it comes to the Hamptons, anything is possible.  Taking a break from the Hollywood glam, celebrities alike have an itch for the Hamptons just like we do.  And with summer rolling in, so are the world’s most famous faces.

According to the New York Post, Madonna recently signed a contract for a townhouse in the luxurious Wolffer Estate Vineyards in Sagaponack to board her horses.  But a source tells the publication that the material mom reportedly presented the estate with a ten-page list of demands.  Unfortunately for the Queen of Pop, the source says, “They turned her down flat.”

Although it’s now rumored that Madonna is on the lookout for homes in the East, her representative Liz Rosenberg has since denied the list of demands and would not give out specifics on where her client would be this summer. “I get calls all the time about different places saying she’s looking to buy there in ten different states,” Rosenberg said.

But who’s just as great to bump into as Madonna? As the Obamas are said to be looking for a vacation home this summer, writer Michael Henry Adams thinks the President and his First Lady should check out the Hamptons.  “As they’re known to be looking for a place to vacation this summer, I’m recommending that the Obamas check out the Hamptons,” Adams said in his column for The Huffington Post.

With the area’s ethnic diversity, natural beauty, party scene, and great restaurants, Adams claims it would be the perfect summer hot spot for the Presidential family.  He also says that the Obamas would help the local economy by naming the Hamptons their summer location.  “Their arrival would be sure to spur interest enough in real estate to undo all the unfortunate effects of the depression,” Adams said.

Regardless of the rumors and hear say, with the summer creeping in, celebrities are inevitably around.  So be on the look out.  Hamptons regulars such as Jerry Seinfeld, Sean Combs, or Paris Hilton could be a table away!
