On Friday, May 8, ‘Fishbar on the Lake’ reopened its doors under new management. With a menu revamped, the Nantucket style coastal cuisine entrees will surely have your mouth watering.
And why stay inside during your beautiful summer day? Enjoy dinner on the heated outdoor patio dining room as you glance around eyeballing paintings by local artists showcasing East End scenery. While the art will keep your eyes busy, make sure to satisfy your hunger with executive chef and co-owner Jennifer Meadows signature dish, pan seared scallops served with jasmine rice, black lentils, applewood smoked bacon, tomatoes, and fresh pesto.
If you’re not much of a meat eater (like some of us here at To27.com), Fishbar has a meal for everyone. Entrees, including vegetarian dishes, range from $13 to $29 and appetizers from $8 to $13. Satisfying, enjoyable, and affordable!
For the first half of the season, Fishbar’s dinner service will take place between 4:30 p.m. and 9:30 p.m., Thursday through Sunday. Beginning July, lunch and dinner will start from 12 noon to 10 p.m. seven days a week. During July and August, brunch will take place between 10:30 a.m. and 3 p.m. But even if your tummy isn’t grumbling, make sure to check out the restaurant’s stimulus package, including a daily Happy Hour from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. featuring $4 margaritas and $3 drafts.
On May 27 you can sign up to cook with chef Meadows any Wednesday through the month of June. What better way to end your day by learning how to pan sear, bake, grill, sauté, or poach your own delicious meal in Montauk for $45?

Hallelujah! Can’t wait until July … I might have to be escorted out of the place once they get sick of seeing my face (which I will be continually stuffing) from open to close!
